Main mistakes to avoid when planning a trip alone

Don’t think that everybody can organize a trip with good results.

Organizing a trip requires time and experience. That’s why you should rely on somebody who can do that for you, in order to maximize your experience. I’m here to do that for you!

Don’t think that doing everything on your own it’s the best way to save money.

It is true that if you organize a trip yourself you will cut the intermediate costs. But did you think about the additional costs that you might face if something goes wrong? Before going to Japan you didn’t consider that majority of shops and restaurants don’t accept credit cards or that your credit card needs to be enabled to withdraw internationally. And did you think about how much time you have to invest to organize your trip? Time is really expensive! If you count on my help you will save a lot of time and money!

Don’t think that doing everything last minute will give you the best experience.

You think that last minute is a great way to organize a trip. You don’t spend a lot of time researching, planning, booking and it is usually much cheaper. But what about your expectations? You expected to experience the silent and the wildness in an African safari and you ended up in sharing this with hundreds of tourists. Well, your expectations have a big value. My goal is to make sure that you really get what you want out of a trip.

Don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of information you can get.

You have very clear ideas on where to go and when to go. Then you start to research on what to do and how is the best way to arrange your holiday. You get loads of information surfing online, but nothing gives you clear instructions on which is the less touristic spot, which is the safest way to travel there, how could you get in touch with local guides? This is all done by me! I have been there in person. I know the locals, I know how to get there and what to do there. The only thing you need to do is getting in touch with me!

Don’t ask questions and information to too many different sources

Since the web doesn’t give you enough answers, you start to ask for information from friends and colleagues that have been traveling to the same place you want to go. Always remember that each person has different perceptions, needs and ways to travel. You want to trek Mont Semeru in Indonesia. Some people could tell you that it was a great experience and not that challenging, some could tell you it was exhausting. And now what to do? You just contact me! I will interview you to get to know you and your personality, to understand what could be the best trip tailored to your needs and I will help you to take the right decisions.
